The purpose of The 500, Inc., is to support the Arts of Dallas County. Since 1965, we have done this by funding specific projects of our beneficiaries. Among other things, to be eligible to receive a grant from The 500, Inc., an art group must be a tax-exempt organization operating or residing in Dallas County, and must stage performances or exhibit works that are open to the general public.
Potential beneficiaries may download all of the forms necessary to apply for a grant from The 500, Inc., from this website. All of the forms and instructions are available in Microsoft Office Word 2007, or in Adobe Acrobat PDF. Four files of each format are available – a cover letter, application criteria & guide, the application form itself, and an appendix form – grouped together in a simple .zip file. Grant Applications are due back into The 500, Inc., office at 3530 Forest Lane, Suite 289, Dallas, Texas 75234, at the close-of-business on Monday, May 24th, 2010.
